| Welcome to my teacher pages, and thank you for your visit. Here, you'll find further details on my work as an instrumental and Braille music teacher, including my teaching policies, along with other articles of interest. I have been actively teaching since 2003, after qualifying with an LTCL Diploma in Vocal/Instrumental Teaching. I actively teach flute from beginner to advanced level, as well as the more specialized subject of Braille music. I have been teaching flute at Hildenborough Church of England Primary School since 2004, and have since gained many private students. For the past four consecutive years, we have been invited to participate in the anual Sevenoaks Summer Festival Schools Stage, and as a result, the school have been awarded with substantial funds for developing their music department. Students who I have prepared for examinations have all achieved merits or distinctions, and have taken part in many performance opportunities, both in school, and in public, including the Wednesday Lunchtime Concert Series at St. Luke's Church in Sevenoaks. Since 2003, I have provided Braille music tuition for some visually impaired students at Crownwood School in Elthan, South East London. My work has included the very basics of note reading, to more complex music theory, along with additional piano and musicianship support. Two students have since successfully achieved an A grade for GCSE music, and have since continued to study music at both the Royal National College in Hereford, and the Brit School in Surrey. I have found teaching to be extremely rewarding, and tremendously satisfying. I strive to make music accessible and enjoyable to all, to helping students become successful in fulfilling their potential, and achieving their best through the gift of music. Section Contents
